Small Website Colour Tweak

To anyone thinking the website looks slightly different, I cleaned up the home page in the most tiny ways and also tweaked the white background (a blinding #FFFFFF white) to be tinge more grey. Hopefully these changes will help navigation and lessen eye strain.
Additionally, I am toying with the idea of adding a dark mode option. I have been giving a few options trial runs, but each seems to come with its own small issues or inconsistencies. Quite the headache.

After nearly two years, The Steady Read finally its own domain inbox. I suppose this adds a touch of legitimacy or professionalism that the website has lacked since its inception back in June 2023.

The Steady Read has finally found some footing, with a modest average of 50–100 unique monthly visitors from various continents, with a roughly equal balance of Westerners and Easterners visiting.
It’s very flattering to see people reading the reviews. With continued growth in readership, the website will hopefully blossom from a passion project to an established, thriving resource for thousands of readers, even if that should take another few years.
