‘Book of the Week’ is a Friday series of posts that started on The Steady Read in the middle of 2024. The series is designed to bring attention to books not yet read by myself, and not yet reviewed on the site.
This means Book of the Week posts are less like reviews, but more so exploring the blurb and discussing how interesting the premise is, as well as whatever else seems relevant. Naturally, if it is a book from an author previously covered on this website, then more insight or speculation can be given.
Book of the Week is designed to be more laid-back and less refined than the core content of The Steady Read (like reviews and the more informative blog posts). This makes it great for a two-minute Friday read that could potentially point you towards a new book to add to your reading list.
In short: it is a weekly series designed to spread the word about books that simply seem interesting and are on my TBR list, but have yet to be read or reviewed.
